Barby's Hot Crab Dip

I always loved this dip which would come out at parties. Serve with your favorite crackers.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 can of king crab, drained
  • ½ teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ c almonds, toasted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F
  • Combine all ingredients except almonds and place in a casserole dish.
  • Top with almonds.
  • Cover and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot, with crackers for dipping and spreading.

My Take

You can take the flavor and kick of this tasty dip up a notch by doubling or tripling the horseradish, onion, and using fresh cracked black pepper. Shake in some crushed red pepper flakes and a little Old Bay for some extra heat.
